Why is my app disconnected?

The top right of the app maintains an active online/connecting/disconnected indicator. If it says "disconnected" then it means that the mobile app is unable to communicate with the SecretShield service, Guardians, and Trustees.

There are many reasons this might occur from lack of network or Internet connectivity to a problem or upgrade of the SecretShield service. The most common cause is when a mobile device changes networks.

How do I reconnect back online?

In most cases, the app will automatically reconnect within a few minutes.

However, connectivity exists and the app is remaining offline, a tap on the "disconnected" indicator will cause that app to actively try to reconnect.
